REFLECTION

Experiences:
Overall, I experienced a lot of new feelings that I couldn't even think of experiencing before during this whole 14 weeks. Even though this module had me sleep deprived and exhausted to the core, I am honestly grateful for being able to experience this whole process and learn so much from it. At the start of this module, I really had little passion for this, and thought that I wouldn't learn much. But now that we've reached the end, I'm really thankful for Mr Vinod and Mr Shamsul for guiding and pushing me to work harder.

Observations:
I am honestly flabbergasted at how true the words from the lecturers were at the start of the semester. I remember them saying that this class will change you if you worked hard enough, and I honestly can see that my thinking and perspective has changed quite tremendously. I am more aware and sensitive towards typography around me now, and have learned to be more disciplined. I also learned how to persevere when faced with difficult situations, and enhanced my critical thinking skills throughout this module.

Findings:
I realized that instead of focusing on getting good grades, I do better when I have the mindset of wanting to be able to learn and benefit from this module. Throughout the 14 weeks, I realized one very important thing. Feedback. Getting feedback allows me to assess my work through the perspectives of others, especially those who have experience in the field of what I'm asking feedback for. No matter how criticizing the feedback sounds, any and all feedback will help you to grow more and more, in terms of designing and growing up as a person. Accept the feedback, analyze it and make sure to never give up and learn from your mistakes. I think that this skill will help me grow stronger as a designer and prepare me to face the real world when I'm working in the industry.
